Meet Lu
Hi there, I'm Lu, the founder of TYM! I grew up on the Wirral and have spent the past eight years working in the luxury yachting world, travelling the globe and meeting incredible people along the way. I began my yachting career as a Junior Stewardess, rising through the ranks to Head of Service and Chief Stewardess aboard some of the world’s most prestigious super yachts. I learned first-hand that organisation isn't just about aesthetics – it's about how a space makes you function and feel.
Life onboard demands absolute precision. Every drawer, routine, and system has a purpose, and seamless service only works when the environment supports it. Over time, this has taught me the power of thoughtful planning and organisation, as well as the calm that comes from knowing everything has its place.
While I've always been driven by curiosity and adventure – eager to explore every inch of land and sea – my perspective has naturally shifted in recent years. Home now feels exactly where I'm meant to be. I've come to value the calm of routine, the beautiful chaos of our ever-expanding family, and the realisation that what we truly need is often already right in front of us.
TYM was born from this balance of experience – the structure and excellence of super yacht life combined with the warmth and reality of home and everyday life. Through TYM, we create spaces and systems that are functional, considered, and effortless to maintain with a view to ensure that the big things don't feel so big, and the little moments feel like magic.
